Temporary full time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management.

Temporary full time opportunity to demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within Oncology Clinics, Cancer Care Services.

About you

Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.

Respond appropriately to and provide support and direction to manage sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/patient using advanced nursing assessment and intervention skills.
n
Provide teaching to both consumers/patients and their families to facilitate learning and enable them to move towards independence.
n
Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning
activities/opportunities




for self and others.

Participate in and support the performance and development planning of self and others.
n
Integrate organisational policies and guidelines with qualified standards by maintaining current knowledge and participating in relevant policy review.
