Global Welding Supplies is a 100% Australian owned and operated local business and we offer a full range of major welding, engineering, safety and steel fabrication products and service throughout the construction, mining, heavy fabrication, engineering and sheet metal industries.

We are looking to employ a responsible and highly motivated Administrative
Assistant/Receptionist
to join our team to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The position is in our Brisbane Branch, working over Monday to Friday, however a part time basis and/or flexible hours can be negotiated.
n
The position is very hands on and you will be required to perform a number of different duties that require strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to organize their work and assist with the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.

Though not essential, If you have previous experience as an administrative assistance and familiarity within our industry, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities

Provide support to our Sales Team.
n
Strong computer / data entry skills with an eye for details. Competent use of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of MYOB would be an advantage.
n
Invoicing, and preparing documents for export sales.
n
Stock receipting & Creditor Invoice entry.
n
Answer and direct phone calls. Polished and professional presentation, including a professional and courteous phone manner
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Order office stationary
n
Management of Banking's & Petty Cash
n
Provide general support to visitors - act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
n
A team focused attitude. Liaise with our Branch Manager and Sales Team to handle requests and provide assistance as requested / required.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
