Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in producing quality work, can read and interpret drawings, and is confident working across a range of fabrication and welding tasks. You will be working in both a workshop and in office environments, carrying out fabrication, repairs, modifications and general welding duties. The successful applicant will be safety-focused, dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

Fabricate, weld, repair and modify steel components and structures.
n
Read and interpret drawings, measurements and job specifications.
n
Carry out MIG/TIG welding and general fabrication duties to a high standard.
n
Use workshop equipment including grinders, drills, saws and hand tools.
n
Measure, cut, fit-up and assemble components accurately.
n




Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
n
Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.
n
About you
n
Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator, Boilermaker or similar trade role.
n
Confident with MIG welding; TIG or stick welding experience would be an advantage.
n
Ability to read drawings and work from measurements.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
n
Trade qualification or relevant tickets highly regarded, but not essential for the right person.
n
Competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience.
