Job Description
You'll be based on a large-scale civil subdivision project in the Toowoomba region, mobilising from September **** as part of a 12-month program involving earthworks, roads, drainage and services installation. Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll operate a water cart/Roller to support dust suppression and compaction across the site, keeping earthworks crews moving safely and productively.

Key responsibilities
n
Dust suppression across site roads, work areas and stockpiles
n
Support earthworks and compaction crews to achieve optimal moisture content
n
Pre-start checks, basic maintenance and prompt fault reporting
n
Manage water cart supply from site water sources
n
Follow WHS and environmental requirements
n
Work with the Site Manager on watering needs and changing site conditions
n
Maintain accurate records of water usage and operating hours
n
Labour when required to keep projects on track
n
About you
n
3+ years' experience on Civil sites
n
Confidence using machine guidance/GPS/3D machine control systems
n
Relevant tickets/licences for the plant operated
n




Current White Card and Driver's License
n
Understand WHS requirements on civil construction sites
n
Responsible and trustworthy — reliable, punctual, and gets the job done
