We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused
Spray Painter
to join our Production Centre in
Wacol, QLD
. Working within a specialised workshop environment, you will play a key role in preparing and painting engines, components, and associated equipment to exact specifications while contributing to the successful delivery of defence-related projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial spray painter looking for ongoing development and the chance to work on high-quality products within a safety-focused and professional team.
About The Role
Spray paint engines, components, and miscellaneous equipment
Prepare surfaces and ensure high-quality paint finishes
Maintain paint bay equipment and filtration systems
Manage paint storage and associated materials
Assist with equipment and parts movement throughout the facility
Support parts cleaning activities
Carry out general workshop, building, and grounds maintenance
Contribute to a safe, clean, and organised work environment
About You
Previous experience as a Spray Painter within an industrial, manufacturing, heavy vehicle, mining, or similar environment
Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Valuable organisational and time management skills
Positive communication skills and a team-focused attitude
A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement
A willingness to learn and contribute across the wider workshop team
