Job Description
Decode Science is a specialist distributor of life science products, partnering with leading global vendors to give researchers across Australia and New Zealand access to high-quality tools and technologies. As our Marketing Coordinator, you will play a central, hands-on role in bringing the Decode Science brand to life — combining strong graphic design with the coordination of our events, digital and campaign activity. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will help evolve our marketing from brand awareness toward active lead generation. This is a varied, design-led opportunity (Adobe Creative Suite essential) for a science graduate with a creative flair who is looking to build their marketing career within a technical, life-science environment.

What you're doing
n
Design and produce marketing collateral across digital and print including social, email, brochures, flyers and event materials, maintaining a consistent and professional brand presence
n
Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of conferences, seminars and events, from planning and collateral through to logistics and on-site support
n
Manage and execute the social media content calendar, building an engaging presence across key channels
n
Support the delivery of email, website and digital campaigns, including landing pages and lead-generation content, across the Australian and New Zealand markets
n
Coordinate incoming marketing requests and manage project timelines to ensure smooth, on-time delivery
n
Partner with the Marketing Manager and the wider sales team to support campaigns and lead-generation initiatives
n
What we're looking for
n
Bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnology, biomedical science or a related life-science discipline required
n




Hands-on graphic design skills with a portfolio; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) essential
n
Recent graduate to around 3 years' experience in a marketing, design or communications role, ideally within life sciences, biotechnology or a
scientific/technical
industry
n
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
n
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp), WordPress or similar website content management, and social media (LinkedIn, X) highly regarded
n
Exposure to event coordination or field marketing an advantage
n
Strong graphic design skills with an eye for brand-consistent, professional output
n
Excellent written communication, with the ability to translate technical and scientific content into transparent, engaging copy
n
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
n
Comfortable adopting marketing technology and AI tools to work more efficiently
