Mind & Body Travel is looking for an experienced Travel Consultant who loves the craft of trip design — someone who takes a brief and turns it into a genuinely well-built itinerary, quote, and booking, every time.

This role is built for the kind of consultant who's brilliant at the actual craft of travel planning — accurate, thorough, efficient. You'll work closely with clients on the detail of their trip: options, quotes, logistics, and any changes along the way, delivered smoothly, start to finish. This isn't a sales role — your focus is the trip itself, not winning the business or owning the client relationship.

Key responsibilities

Take a client brief and turn it into a well-designed itinerary and quote, drawing on the team's shared knowledge and supplier relationships
n
Own the full operational lifecycle of a booking — planning, ticketing, payments, documentation, and any changes or curveballs along the way — through to a smooth return home
n
Liaise directly with clients on the details of their trip (options, itinerary changes, logistics, after-sales support) with genuine care and explicit communication
n
Build bespoke journeys and small group tours accurately and efficiently, working from established client relationships rather than sourcing your own
n
Keep quotes, bookings, and admin precise and on top of deadlines
n
Stay connected with the rest of the team on suppliers, destinations, and industry trends relevant to our specialty areas

About you
n
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Travel Consultant (essential)
n
Experience with Galileo and Tramada highly regarded (not essential)
n




Someone who takes real pride in getting the details of an itinerary and quote right — accurate, thorough, and efficient
n
Comfortable being the person who executes and delivers rather than the one driving new business — you don't need to be a "top seller" to thrive here
n
Warm, clear communication style for client-facing detail work, even though you're not owning the relationship
n
Comfortable working independently in a hybrid, small-team environment, and excited to grow with a business on the move

Hybrid working arrangement (home + office in Greater Springfield)

Flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per week

$80,000 – $90,000 + Super (Full-Time Equivalent), negotiable based on experience
