What You Will Do
Deliver
ward-based medicines management services
to support high-quality patient care and optimise medication use.
Undertake a range of duties as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to support ward-based teams.
Support
medicines optimisation initiatives
, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Assist with
medicines reconciliation
, helping to ensure medication records are accurate and up to date.
Liaise with pharmacists, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes and effective service delivery.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in line with service requirements.
Provide essential ward-based pharmacy support across a range of hospital services.
Requirements
GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician is essential.
Previous experience working as a
Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician within an NHS hospital
.
Experience delivering ward-based medicines management services.
Experience using
Cerner
systems.
Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills.
Previous experience within a hospital pharmacy setting.
