St Agnes Catholic High School, Rooty Hill is seeking a passionate HSIE Teacher with the ability to teach Business Studies and VET Business Services. This is a permanent full time position commencing in January ****.

The successful candidate will

Deliver engaging Business Studies, Business Services and broader HSIE learning experiences.
n
Use contemporary and evidence-informed teaching practices to improve student outcomes.
n
Develop students' knowledge, practical skills and confidence.
n
Maintain the required assessment, documentation and compliance standards for VET delivery.
n
Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
n
Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with students and families.

Qualifications & Accreditations
n
n
Hold recognised tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
n
Hold current NESA accreditation or be eligible to obtain accreditation.
n
Have qualifications and experience in Business Studies and relevant HSIE subjects.
n
Hold the required VET trainer and assessor credentials to deliver Business Services, or be willing to obtain them.
n
Demonstrate relevant vocational knowledge and industry currency.
n
Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
n
