We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our team and day-to-day production operations at our Carole Park, QLD site.
n

About the role
n
Reporting to the relevant senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring production is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality and customer standards.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Lead and develop production teams through coaching, communication and accountability.
n
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with SHE policies and procedures.
n
Manage production planning, capacity, resources and performance to meet customer requirements.
n
Monitor production KPIs and drive improvements in productivity, quality and efficiency.
n
Support the Site Manager in all areas of the business
n
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5's, GMP and Lean principles.
n
Ensure compliance with quality systems and manage NCRs and corrective actions.
n




Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, environmental performance and site security.
n
Identify and reduce workplace hazards through employee engagement and risk assessments.
n
Manage production costs, procurement requirements and inventory.
n
Communicate business objectives, production performance and improvement initiatives to the team.
n
n
About You
n
You will be an experienced production or manufacturing leader with a solid focus on people, safety and operational performance.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
A qualification in Manufacturing, Production Management, Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline.
n
Proven experience in a
production/manufacturing
leadership role.
n
Experience managing teams and driving operational performance.
n
Knowledge of WHS/SHE and quality management systems.
n
Experience with Lean, 5S, GMP or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
n
Current Forklift Licence
n
Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills.
n
A practical, hands-on approach and commitment to achieving high standards.
n
