Job Description
Based in Sunnybank Hills, QLD, this is a hands-on supervisory role leading the warehouse team and coordinating the day-to-day movement, storage and dispatch of goods. You'll work closely with the QLD State Manager and Customer Service team to ensure orders are picked accurately, dispatched on time and delivered in line with customer expectations. You'll thrive in this role if you're effective under pressure, quick to pick up new systems and processes, and genuinely detail-focused when it comes to stock accuracy and dispatch performance.

Key responsibilities
n
Lead, support and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team
n
Plan daily workloads and allocate resources to meet operational priorities
n
Oversee picking, packing, receipting, put-away and dispatch, maintaining high accuracy and on-time performance
n
Coordinate delivery schedules, driver runs and transport requirements
n
Maintain accurate stock control and investigate inventory or dispatch discrepancies
n
Work closely with Customer Service to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
n
Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
n
Maintain high standards of housekeeping,



organisation and stock security
n
Support training and development of warehouse employees
n
Ensure WHS requirements and safe work practices are followed at all times
n
About you
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar warehouse, supervisory or team leadership role
n
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a warehouse team
n
Strong knowledge of warehousing, inventory control, receipting and dispatch
n
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team
n
Comfort working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
n
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Experience within the electrical, steel, manufacturing or construction supply industries would be highly regarded
n
