We are seeking applications from motivated hospitality management professionals to fill a Full-Time Venue Manager (Duty Manager) role at Canada Bay Club. The ideal candidate is someone who is a real team player with a passion for developing and maintaining relationships. Key responsibilities
n
n
Day to day co-ordination and oversight of Club Operations
n
Ensuring compliance in line with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, WHS Act, AML/CTF & RSA/RCG Legislation obligations
n
Responsible Gaming Officer (RGO) responsibilities with strong focus on harm minimisation
n
Staff performance management, coaching and appraisals in line with Team Handbook, Club policy & procedure
n
Champion our culture
n
Attendance and contribution to Venue Manager team meetings
n
n
About you
n
n
Tertiary Hospitality Management qualifications (or equivalent proven experience)
n
Minimum of 2-3 years in a Duty Manager role (ideally in a Club environment)
n
Leadership qualities, ability to inspire, motivate and develop the team
n
Ability to assess,



make quick decisions and delegate in an environment with conflicting prioritiesli>
n
Driven to meet set KPI's
n
Excellent interpersonal, communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
n
RSA/RCG + Advanced RCG qualifications are essential
n
Australian National Police Check
n
TAB Compliance, Senior First Aid & Food Safety Supervisor certificates
n
