Who We Are

We're an online tutoring provider specialising in personalised, one-on-one lessons, backed by a network of more than 300 registered teachers. Our programs cover senior secondary exam preparation (VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE and SACE), English reading and writing, Maths, Science, and preparation for Scholarship and Selective School entry exams for students in Years 1 to 10.

The Role: Qualified Science Teachers - Flexible Online 1-on-1 Tutoring
n
We're looking for qualified and experienced Science teachers to join our growing online tutoring team.
n
This role is particularly suited to current or former Australian high school teachers who would like to bring their classroom expertise into a flexible one-on-one tutoring environment.
n
You may teach:
n
General Science for Year 7–10
n
Physics for Year *****
n
Chemistry for Year *****
n
Biology for Year *****
n
Senior secondary Science and exam preparation
n
Teachers with experience across multiple year levels and Science subjects are especially welcome.
n
Our students include Australian-born students, both native English speakers and EAL learners, as well as international students from China.
n
What You'll Do
n




Deliver engaging one-on-one online lessons tailored to each student's learning needs
n
Help students develop a strong understanding of Science concepts and apply them to exam-style questions
n
Support students with course content, homework, assignments and exam preparation
n
Prepare students for senior secondary assessments and final examinations
n
Follow individualised lesson plans built around each student's needs
n
Track and report on student progress
n
Provide motivation, encouragement and academic guidance
n
Communicate professionally with our Teaching Assistants regarding student progress and learning needs
n
In-person sessions at a student's home or a local library may also be available for teachers who would like this option
n
What We're Looking For
n
A teaching qualification, relevant teaching or tutoring experience, or current enrolment in a teaching degree is highly advantageous
n
Strong exam-preparation skills and familiarity with senior secondary
Physics/Chemistry/Biology
syllabuses and assessment structures (VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE or SACE)
n
Solid knowledge and expertise in Physics, Chemistry and/or Biology
n
A reliable, consistent weekly schedule and a professional approach to teaching
n




Reliable internet connection and confidence using online teaching technology
n

Our Teaching Assistants manage lesson scheduling and communicate with parents on your behalf

Homework marking support is available from our Teaching Assistants, using the provided answer keys

Our Learning Coordinator keeps parents informed about each student's progress and ongoing study plan
n
You can focus on teaching while we support the administrative side of the tutoring process
