Australian Drafting & Design is seeking an experienced Architectural Revit Drafter / Designer for a full-time contract position with an established engineering and project delivery client in Sydney.
n
The role involves working on technically complex projects within the pharmaceutical, laboratory, cleanroom, advanced manufacturing and production sectors.
n
You will work closely with architects, engineers and other disciplines to develop coordinated architectural documentation in Autodesk Revit.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare architectural layouts and documentation in Revit
n
Produce plans, sections, elevations and detailed drawings
n
Develop room layouts, Room Data Sheets and equipment layouts
n
Coordinate equipment access and maintenance requirements
n
Coordinate architectural documentation with mechanical, electrical and process disciplines
n
Update Revit models from engineering and project mark-ups
n
Assist with BIM coordination and clash resolution
n




Prepare documentation through design and construction stages
n

About You
n
n
Strong Autodesk Revit skills
n
Architectural drafting, design or documentation experience
n
Good understanding of construction documentation and spatial planning
n
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
n
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
n
Australian working rights
n
n
Experience with laboratories, cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities, healthcare, advanced manufacturing or other highly serviced buildings will be highly regarded.
n
Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM coordination and technically complex building services would also be advantageous.
