Female Disability Support Worker – Casual

North Parramatta & Wollstonecraft | Up to 20 Hours Per Week

Next Step Living is a family-run NDIS provider supporting participants across Sydney. We are looking for reliable, energetic and compassionate female disability support workers to join our growing team.
n
We have 20 hours of casual work available each week across two participants in North Parramatta and Wollstonecraft. Applicants can apply for one participant's roster or take on both, as the shifts do not clash.

About the supports
n
North Parramatta – 14 hours per week
n
Regular shifts:
n
n
Tuesday: 9:00 am–12:00 pm
n
Thursday: 9:00 am–12:00 pm
n
Friday: 9:00 am–12:00 pm
n
Saturday: 9:00 am–2:00 pm
n
n
The role involves:
n
n
Supporting a young participant with community access and everyday activities
n
Encouraging independence, confidence and social participation
n
Providing positive, engaging and high-energy support
n
n
Wollstonecraft – 6 hours per week
n
Regular shifts:
n
n
Tuesday: 4:00 pm–7:00 pm
n
Thursday: 4:00 pm–7:00 pm
n
n
The role involves:
n
n
Supporting a participant with autism
n
Assisting with daily activities and community participation
n
Providing calm, consistent and structured support
n
n
Applicants may apply for:
n
n
The 14-hour North Parramatta roster
n
The 6-hour Wollstonecraft roster
n
Both rosters,



providing a total of 20 hours per week
n
n
Duties may include:
n
n
Community access and social activities
n
Transport to appointments and activities
n
Supporting participants to develop independence and daily living skills
n
Following individual support plans and established routines
n
Completing progress notes and reporting any concerns
n
Building respectful and qualified relationships with participants and their families
n
n
To be considered, you will need:
n
n
Experience supporting people with disability
n
Experience supporting people with autism for the Wollstonecraft role
n
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
A current Working With Children Check
n
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
n
A reliable and insured vehicle
n
Strong communication and documentation skills
n
Reliability, patience and a genuine interest in helping participants achieve their goals
n
