Fleming's Nurseries is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Horticulture Apprentices to join our busy wholesale production nursery in MONBULK.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, getting their hands dirty and wants to build a long-term career in the horticulture industry while completing a Certificate 3 in Horticulture.
n
As a Fleming's Apprentice you will gain experience across all areas of our production nursery ranging from:
n
n
learning the techniques of quality tree production
n
plant propagation
n
potting and planting
n
grafting and budding
n
pruning
n
weeding, watering and general plant maintenance
n
operating and learning to use horticultural equipment and machinery
n
working as part of a friendly and supportive team
n
n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
has a genuine interest in plants and horticulture
n
is keen and willing to learn
n
enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions
n
is reliable and punctual
n
can work effectively as part of a team
n
is physically fit
n




committed to completing their apprenticeship and gaining their qualification
n
n

This is a full-time permanent position working 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday, with 2 hours of regular overtime each Friday.
