Trades Services Painting QLD Other Permanent / Full Time 23/9/2026 Rockhampton location Permanent full time position Salary range between $100k-$110k + super We are currently recruiting for a permanent chance as a Painting Project Manager - you will be responsible for overseeing project planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.
This role is a full time position with our client working Monday - Friday roster.
Although based within the Rockhampton region, there may be some travel to project and client sites as required Key responsibilities to be successful: Developing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders Leading cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables including determining labour hours required to complete the project as well as resources and materials Monitoring project progress, identifying risks,



and implementing mitigation strategies Communicating project status updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders Ensuring adherence to project management best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Experience and qualifications to be successful: Painter and Decorator - tradesman certificate Previous experience in commercial or residential field Experience managing small teams of wages, staff, and subcontractors on concurrent projects Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Construction white/blue card Successful candidates will undergo a National Police Check and a Working with Children Card.
