THE ROLE
The Procurement Data & Information Officer makes an important contribution to the monitoring and enhancement of the department's procurement, service funding and grants activity.
The position is responsible for supporting the department's goods and services procurement governance framework by:
* Using departmental IT platforms to manage, report on and analyse procurement related data to meet legislative, audit and policy requirements
* Supporting the establishment, implementation and enhancement of policies, procedures and templates to support and improve the efficiency of the department's procurement and funding frameworks
* Supporting the administration of the Procurement Committee Secretariat.
You will be required to develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the department's procurement policies and procedures to provide guidance and advice to team members and departmental staff.
The Procurement Data & Information Officer also supports diverse projects to strengthen operations of the team and the management of the procurement, grants and funding frameworks and practice within the department.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Prepare and present detailed, comprehensive and accurate reports based on data and other information.




* Build and maintain a robust understanding of procurement policies and procedures within the department and Victorian government.
* Analyse data and other information to support reporting requirements, monitor performance, and identify and monitor risks and trends.
