About the Role As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of parcels, packages, and freight throughout the metropolitan area.
You will represent our business professionally while ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and road safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities Conduct daily pre-start vehicle safety inspections.
Safely load, secure, transport, and unload parcels and freight.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet delivery schedules.
Deliver and collect freight from residential and commercial customers.
Obtain proof of delivery using handheld scanners or electronic devices.
Inspect loads and ensure freight is safely secured during transport.
Operate vehicle doors, curtains, or tarps as required.
Refuel vehicles and maintain vehicle cleanliness through basic housekeeping.
Complete delivery documentation accurately.
Report vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, and safety concerns.
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a qualified appearance.
Comply with all road laws, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies.




About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A current and valid Australian Class C Driver Licence A clean driving record.
Previous courier, delivery, transport, or driving experience (preferred but not essential).
Good knowledge of metropolitan roads and suburbs.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
Experience using GPS navigation, handheld scanners, and mobile delivery applications.
The ability to safely perform manual handling tasks and lift parcels within safe working guidelines.
A reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
