We are looking for a Panel beater and a Vehicle Painter to join our team.

The team specialises in smash repairs and insurance claims, and also provides 24/7 towing across West Ryde.
It is an established, long standing local workshop for anyone looking to build a career in the panel and collision repair trade.
Position details Panelbeater Employment Responsibilities Straightening damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment Fitting repaired or replacement panels on vehicles and refitting body hardware such as door locks and trims Replacing badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels May assist vehicle body builders in constructing and restoring custom-designed, vintage and other specialty vehicles Support continuous improvement and quality outcomes Contribute to a positive, protected and productive workplace Follow all workplace policies, procedures and safety requirements Skills, experience and qualifications Certificate III including at least two years of relevant experience, or Certificate IV.
At least 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification.

Registration or licensing may be required for this occupation.
Vehicle Painter Employment Responsibilities Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders Masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper Colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint Applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats Follow all workplace policies, procedures and safety requirements Contribute to a positive, safe and productive workplace Communicate effectively with team members and management Skills, experience and qualifications Certificate III including at least two years of relevant experience, or Certificate IV.
At least 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification.
