SNJ LYE PTY LTD t/s LAKSA KING A leading Malaysian Cuisine fine dine restaurant located at Sydney CBD catering to the niche market for various types of Laksa requires the following personnel Position : COOK Location of work : 37 Erskine St Sydney NSW **** Nature of employment : Full time - Expected to work on roaster and during weekends Reporting to : Director -Unique methods of mixing ingredients for the each type of menu item /particular style of cuisine -Cooking and preparation of the various stuffing for particular styled dumplings/breads/curries along with blend of spices -Prepare various types of Laksa on a daily basis and check quality of all base sauces.
-Determine appropriate ingredients and purchasing specifications, test recipes,specific individual serving portion for each recipe -Training and supervise junior kitchen staff -Maintain high standard of personal presentation,



hygiene and cleanliness in kitchen areas -Cut, prepare and cook vegetables for different menu items -Preparing sauces, dips, and accompaniments.
-Store raw and cooked food in appropriate containers and in specified temperature in controlled facilities -Portion food and plate -Garnish and add sauces to foods .
-Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment -Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements of patrons like lactose free , vegan , vegetarian and Celia free food Qualification : Minimum Certificate IV in Kitchen Management /Asian Cookery Experience : Minimum 1 year Salary $80,000 to $***** excluding superannuation If interested Apply to : **************************
