Project Engineer Sydney, NSW Core Talent are currently working with a number of established Tier 2 and Tier 3 civil contractors operating across Sydney and nationally, who are looking to appoint experienced Project Engineers to their growing project teams.
These are genuine opportunities to join well-established businesses delivering a diverse range of civil infrastructure and building-related civil works across Sydney.
Depending on the project and contractor, your experience may include: Bulk earthworks and detailed excavation Stormwater drainage and hydraulic infrastructure Road construction and pavement works Kerb and gutter FRP / concrete structures Piling and groundworks Deep excavation and basement construction Retaining structures and associated civil works General civil infrastructure and enabling works You'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors and consultants, taking ownership of engineering, project delivery, commercial outcomes and technical coordination.
About You We're looking for experienced Project Engineers with proven Australian civil construction experience, ideally within the Tier 2 / Tier 3 contractor market.
You will ideally demonstrate:



Proven experience as a Project Engineer within Australian civil construction Previous experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 contractor Strong exposure to one or more of the disciplines listed above A demonstrated track record of longevity and stability in previous roles Strong understanding of project delivery, planning, quality, safety and commercial processes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Full Australian working rights A valid Australian driver's licence Most importantly, we're looking for engineers who have built a solid track record in the Australian market and are looking to take the next step with an established contractor.
