Key Responsibilities: • Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Safely transport and deliver various goods and materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety on the road.
• Position vehicles accurately for the efficient loading and unloading of materials.
• Utilize hoisting and tipping equipment to load and unload construction materials safely.
• Maintain accurate logbooks of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address any mechanical issues.




• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and minimize delays.
• Ensure compliance with all truck driving rules and safety regulations.
• Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance of the truck, including refueling and cleaning.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Check loading documentation, assess the condition of materials, and confirm delivery certifications.
Qualifications: • Heavy Truck Driver Licence required • Relevant Australian Qualification and/or licencing order.
• Proven 1 year experience as truck driver.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
