Venue Manager at Rosie Campbell s The venue Rosie Campbell s is a 75-seat hospitality and live music venue in Surry Hills, close to Oxford Street.
We host live music three nights a week and offer guests food, drinks and functions in an intimate setting.
We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the venue, including its bar, front-of-house service, live music nights and functions.
The role As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the venue s operations and leading the team to deliver a secure, well-run and welcoming experience for guests.
You will work with the kitchen team, performers, suppliers and business owners to plan services and events, manage resources and maintain the venue s standards.
Key duties and responsibilities Plan and oversee daily venue operations, including bar service, front-of-house activities, live music nights and functions.
Recruit, train, supervise and roster venue staff in line with trading needs and wage budgets.
Coordinate functions and live music nights, including staffing, venue preparation and communication with performers and function clients.
Monitor revenue, labour costs, stock, wastage and other operating expenses,



and report on venue performance to the business owners.
Manage purchasing and supplier relationships, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
Oversee cash-handling procedures and the accuracy of operational records.
Ensure the venue complies with applicable liquor licensing, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
Coordinate cleaning, maintenance and venue presentation.
Work closely with the Head Chef to coordinate kitchen and front-of-house operations.
Respond to guest feedback and maintain high standards of service.
About you You will have experience managing a hospitality venue or comparable operation, including responsibility for staff, rosters, budgets, stock and service standards.
You will be organised, confident leading a team and comfortable coordinating busy services and events.
Knowledge of liquor licensing and relevant safety requirements is essential.
