Opportunities may be available across policy, program delivery, project coordination, strategic writing and administration.
Candidates with robust policy-writing experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
Potential responsibilities: Researching and analysing complex policy and program matters Developing policy documents, briefs, submissions, reports and correspondence Translating complex information into clear, concise and evidence-based advice Supporting the design, implementation and evaluation of government initiatives Coordinating projects, governance activities, meetings and reporting requirements Monitoring deliverables, risks, emerging issues and program outcomes Consulting and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders Providing secretariat, administrative and operational support as required Managing sensitive and confidential information appropriately To be considered, you will ideally demonstrate: Previous experience at the APS5 or APS6 level, or in a comparable role Robust policy-writing, research and analytical capabilities Experience preparing high-quality briefs, submissions, reports or executive correspondence Sound judgement and the ability to interpret legislation,



policy and evidence Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills The ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines A team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively with limited direction Experience operating within a complex government or regulated environment Experience developing policy or delivering programs within complex social policy, community or human services environments will be highly regarded.
