Job description As the Engineering Lead you will be managing several continuous improvement and product development projects for the engineering department.
The goal is to improve the existing assembly line and production systems to increase quality and production levels.
We need somebody who has done this before in a manufacturing workshop environment.
As the Engineering Lead your duties will include the following: Lead the Development of new machine architecture Lead the component selection, modelling and design process, review calculations – from concept through to completion Manage a small team of engineers by task delegation, peer reviewing and quality control Manage the whole design, build,



installation and commissioning process for the product and assembly line improvements Your skillset and background will include: Mechanical, Mechatronics or Manufacturing engineering qualification A proven track record developing current mechanical systems and system architecture to improve a production and assembly line in a workshop environment Experience with designing mechanical systems - conveyors, robotics, CNC machines, robotic welding arms etc Experience leading teams of engineers Please note this is initially a 3-month contract with the potential to extend to 6-months or become permanent.
