Product Owner
n The Prospect We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead cross-functional agile teams in translating business objectives and customer needs into user-focused digital solutions.
n This role will work closely with business stakeholders, marketers, designers, developers and technology teams to define product vision, manage digital roadmaps and deliver initiatives that improve customer and business outcomes.
n You will take ownership of product strategy and delivery, prioritising the product backlog, supporting agile teams and ensuring solutions are effectively tested through development and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

Define product and service vision and requirements based on customer needs and business objectives.
n
Partner with business stakeholders and agile teams to identify business needs and establish priorities for the digital product roadmap.
n
Lead agile delivery teams as Product Owner, defining strategic outcomes and owning the product roadmap.
n
Prioritise product backlog items based on business and customer value.
n
Develop and manage digital implementation plans, including resource capacity planning and budget management.
n
Build a strong understanding of user needs, behaviours and motivations to improve customer experiences.
n
Communicate delivery progress through showcases, stand-ups and visual management tools.
n
Build strong relationships across digital, innovation, marketing, business and technology teams.
n
Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
n
Champion agile ways of working to improve delivery efficiency and quality.

Lead, support and develop Product Owners, setting clear expectations and helping embed an Agile culture.

Experience
n
You will bring relevant experience within digital product delivery, with preferred experience including:
n

Developing, implementing and managing digital technologies and functionality.
n
Working within Agile environments, particularly Scrum.
n
Driving and delivering digital initiatives.
n
Developing business plans.
n
Working within financial services or insurance environments would be beneficial.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
n
n

n
You are comfortable operating across both business and technology teams and can translate business goals and customer needs into clear product priorities.
n
You will be confident leading agile teams, managing competing priorities and communicating product direction and delivery progress to a broad range of stakeholders.
