Nimbin Taxi Trucks is seeking a reliable, motivated and customer-focused Courier Driver to join our team servicing Lismore, Nimbin and surrounding Northern Rivers areas.

This is a full-time position suited to someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, enjoys being on the road and can work efficiently in a fast-paced transport environment.

About the Role
n
As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient collection and delivery of freight, parcels and general goods throughout the Northern Rivers.
n
You will play an important role in our day-to-day operations, representing Nimbin Taxi Trucks and helping us maintain the dependable service our customers expect.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Collect and deliver freight, parcels and general goods within designated service areas
n
Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and within required timeframes
n
Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
n
Complete delivery documentation and electronic records accurately
n
Provide professional, friendly and courteous customer service
n
Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance or safety issues
n
Follow company procedures, workplace requirements and all road safety regulations
n
Communicate effectively
n
Maintain a clean, tidy and professional vehicle and presentation
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A current and valid Australian Manual Driver Licence
n
MR or LR licence highly desirable,



but not mandatory
n
A safe driving history and strong understanding of road safety
n
Previous courier, transport, delivery or logistics experience preferred but not essential
n
Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
Good organisational and time-management skills
n
The ability to work independently while also being a reliable team member
n
A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
n
Reasonable physical fitness and the ability to safely handle freight of varying sizes and weights
n
Good knowledge of Lismore, Nimbin and the Northern Rivers region highly regarded
n
