Infrastructure Solution Architect We are currently supporting our client in the search for an experienced Solution Architect to join their team.
You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, project teams, vendors and the Enterprise Architecture function to develop effective, secure and scalable solutions across infrastructure, applications, information and technology domains.
Key Responsibilities Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business requirements and strategic technology roadmaps.
Work with business stakeholders, Project Managers and Business Analysts to understand project objectives, requirements and constraints.
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, considering cost, risk, security, scalability, performance and total cost of ownership.
Design secure server, network and Azure cloud solutions .
Facilitate architecture workshops and communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
Develop and maintain current-state and future-state architecture documentation.
Contribute to architecture standards, principles, patterns, reference architectures and technology roadmaps.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring and thought leadership to project teams.
Conduct design reviews and ensure solutions align with agreed architecture standards and requirements.
Consider operational requirements including resilience, high availability, monitoring,



maintainability and performance.
Work with vendors and external consultants to assess and develop appropriate technology solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement across IT architecture, delivery and operational practices.
About You 5+ years' experience designing and developing complex IT infrastructure solutions.
Proven experience taking accountability for solution architecture and technical outcomes.
Strong experience designing secure server, network and Azure cloud solutions .
Experience documenting solution architectures across business, application, information and technology domains.
Experience evaluating and selecting technology solutions and components.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working across a variety of software development methodologies.
Desirable Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and notations such as TOGAF or ArchiMate .
Relevant architecture or cloud certifications.
