Dash Group is looking for an experienced Construction Labourer to join our team on a busy building project in West End, Brisbane .
This is a hands-on construction role , not a full-time traffic control position.
You'll be working as part of the construction crew, assisting with concrete pours, deck pours, concrete patching, general site work and assisting trades .
When required, you'll also step into traffic control to manage deliveries, concrete trucks, pumps, cranes and other site movements .
About the role Your day-to-day duties will include: Assisting with concrete pours and deck pours Concrete patching and repairs – ESSENTIAL Concrete finishing and general concrete works General construction labouring Assisting carpenters, concreters and other trades Moving materials and equipment around site General site preparation and clean-up Loading and unloading materials Setting up and maintaining safe work areas Traffic control for deliveries and site vehicles Managing truck and vehicle movements in and out of site Assisting with deliveries and coordinating with drivers Following SWMS, safety procedures and supervisor directions About you We're looking for a reliable, practical construction all-rounder who knows how a building site operates and is happy to get stuck in.
You will have:



Traffic Controller Level 1 ticket – REQUIRED Proven concrete patching and repair experience – ESSENTIAL Previous experience on building or construction sites Experience assisting with concrete pours and deck pours White Card General construction labouring experience Good understanding of site safety Good communication skills and a robust work ethic Current driver's licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team Forklift Licence – Highly Regarded The right person We're looking for someone who is more than just a labourer or traffic controller .
You should be someone who can confidently work around a busy construction site, understands what needs to be done, and is willing to help wherever required.
One day you could be assisting with a concrete or deck pour , carrying out concrete patching and repairs , moving materials and helping trades.
When a delivery arrives, you'll step into traffic control and safely manage the truck or vehicle movement .

Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential.
