Responsibilities Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debtor balances while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include: Managing debts that fall outside agreed payment terms Following up overdue accounts via phone and email Negotiating repayment arrangements with customers Investigating and resolving invoice and account queries Providing monthly statements to clients Preparing monthly debtor and collection reports Escalating delayed payments and high-risk accounts where required Maintaining accurate debtor records and detailed file notes Handling internal and external stakeholder enquiries Completing weekly and monthly reporting for the Credit Manager Achieving monthly collection targets and KPIs Candidate Profile To be successful in this role, you will possess: Previous experience as a Credit Officer, ideally within a professional services environment Strong dispute resolution and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships Strong problem-solving capabilities and commercial acumen Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills High attention to detail and accuracy What's on Offer Salary package of $70,000 - $75,000 + Super Melbourne North West location with easy public transport access Permanent role offering long-term job security Supportive and cooperative team culture Opportunity to join a growing national organisation Stable and well-established business with strong leadership To apply online, please click the appropriate link below.
