We are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) for a 4 month contract supporting delivery on the Alkimos Desalination Plant project.
This is a site-based opportunity for a capable mechanical project engineer with strong fabrication and SMP package delivery experience who can quickly add value in a fast-moving project environment.
About the role Support mechanical package delivery across fabrication, SMP works and site execution.
Coordinate contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to maintain safe, productive progress.
Review technical documentation, manage queries and help drive quality, completions and handover outcomes.
Work 11 hour days, Monday to Friday, on a circa $100/hr + super contract rate.
About you Strong fabrication and SMP package delivery experience.
Previous Tier 1 contractor experience will be highly regarded.




Experience on major infrastructure or industrial construction projects is preferred.
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering degree with the confidence to work autonomously and solve site-based delivery challenges.
Ideally based in Perth's northern suburbs to support a reasonable commute and fatigue management requirements.
