Training Manager - Delivery Sureway Skills and Training is looking for an exceptional National Training Manager – Delivery to lead our training delivery function and help shape the next phase of our growth.

You will lead our training delivery function, drive a robust culture of accountability and achievement, and work closely with the General Manager and senior leadership team to grow the business while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
You will be responsible for bringing together people, performance, quality, compliance, customer experience and commercial outcomes .
About the role As Training Manager – Delivery, you will lead a National team of trainers and operational staff and take ownership of the performance and effectiveness of our training delivery function.
You will be expected to: Lead from the front and create a culture where people are accountable, motivated and proud of the work they do.
Build and develop a high-performing training team through strong leadership, coaching and clear expectations.
Drive revenue growth and identify opportunities to increase enrolments, funded training, skill sets, short courses and new training products.
Take ownership of delivery performance, including learner progression, completion, retention, trainer utilisation and financial outcomes.
Translate strategy into action and ensure initiatives are delivered rather than simply discussed.
Identify opportunities to improve the way we deliver training and challenge existing processes where better solutions are possible.
Lead continuous improvement across training operations, systems and learner experience.
Ensure the RTO remains compliant, audit-ready and aligned with ASQA requirements and state-based funding contracts.
Use data, reporting and commercial insights to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
Work closely with Business Development, Employment Services and other areas of the organisation to identify opportunities to grow the training pipeline.
Build strong relationships with employers, industry, government and other stakeholders.
Lead the implementation and adoption of new systems and technology, including LMS and digital learning initiatives.
Support the development and launch of innovative training products, including micro-credentials, short courses and other emerging opportunities.
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the training function.
Take ownership of challenges and bring solutions, not just problems.

What you'll bring Significant leadership experience within the Australian VET/RTO sector.
Strong understanding of RTO operations, ASQA requirements and state-based training contracts.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
A proven track record of improving operational performance and delivering measurable outcomes.
Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of revenue, cost of delivery, forecasting and financial performance.
Experience identifying and developing new business or revenue opportunities within the VET sector.
Strong understanding of learner progression, completion, retention and training delivery models.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability.
Demonstrated experience leading change, transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
The ability to influence, inspire and bring people with you.
A strong understanding of compliance without allowing compliance to become a barrier to innovation and growth.
Experience and qualifications Minimum 3 years' senior management experience in vocational education and training , with significant experience leading delivery teams.




Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) .
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience working within an RTO environment.
Experience with government-funded training contracts.
Experience with RTO compliance and audit preparation.
Experience with LMS, digital learning, training product development or micro-credentials will be highly regarded.
Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
