We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join a growing financial services organisation in a permanent capacity.
This is a hands-on role sitting between business, product, technology and external vendors, translating business requirements into practical technology solutions and helping drive improvements across core platforms and systems.
The Role As a Business Systems Analyst, you will work closely with internal Product Owners, technology teams and external vendors to analyse, design and deliver system enhancements and new capabilities.
You will be involved across the full delivery lifecycle, from understanding business needs and documenting requirements through to solution design, testing, implementation and post-release support.
Key responsibilities will include: Partnering with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Working closely with technology teams and third-party vendors to deliver system enhancements.
Analysing and improving business workflows, processes and system integrations.
Working with APIs, integrations and data flows to understand how systems interact.
Supporting platform upgrades, system implementations and technology change initiatives.
Producing clear functional and technical documentation, including requirements, process flows and acceptance criteria.
Supporting testing, including test planning, UAT and defect resolution.




Investigating system issues and working with vendors and internal teams to identify and implement solutions.
Identifying opportunities to improve system functionality, automation and operational efficiency.
Acting as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
About You We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with a strong combination of business analysis capability and technical understanding.
You will ideally have: Several years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
Experience working within financial services, banking, lending, insurance or a similar regulated setting.
Strong understanding of workflows, APIs, integrations and system architecture.
Experience working with third-party technology vendors and managing requirements through to delivery.
Well versed across the SDLC.
Experience creating test plans / regression tests.
Experience supporting platform upgrades, implementations or significant system enhancements.
Robust requirements gathering and documentation skills.
The ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in an Agile/product-focused environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across business and technology teams.
