Role Details Position: Cleaning Supervisor Location: Murrumba State Secondary College, Murrumba Downs, QLD Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm Pay: From $75,000 per year (inclusive of superannuation), with higher remuneration available for candidates with relevant experience Contract: Permanent Full-Time Please note that flexibility is required, as working hours may occasionally need to be adjusted to support school operational requirements.
About the Role Lead and support a team of cleaners, coordinate daily operations, and help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.
Working closely with your team and school stakeholders, you will drive service quality and foster a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and support cleaning team members Coordinate daily cleaning activities and allocate resources effectively Ensure services are delivered to contractual and quality standards Monitor safety,



compliance and performance requirements Build positive relationships with school staff and stakeholders Assist with Facilities Management activities as required Create a supportive and accountable team environment Promote a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement About You You are an approachable and organised leader who enjoys helping others succeed.
You communicate confidently, lead by example, and take pride in building strong relationships with both your team and stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have: Previous leadership or supervisory experience Strong verbal and written English communication skills Confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders Excellent organisational and time management skills The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities A flexible and adaptable approach to changing operational requirements A commitment to maintaining high standards within a school workplace Previous experience working within a Department of Education environment is highly regarded but not essential.
