About the Role: This role is suited to an experienced commercial litigator who wants to take on meaningful responsibility beyond day-to-day file management.

You will work across a broad range of commercial disputes while managing matters with a high degree of autonomy and providing practical, commercially focused advice to clients.
You will also have the opportunity to develop referral relationships, participate in networking and business development activities and help strengthen the firm's presence in the Brisbane market.

The practice covers a diverse range of commercial disputes, with opportunities to further develop specialist expertise in areas aligned with your experience and interests.
Experience or a particular interest in building and construction litigation or insolvency and restructuring will be viewed favourably.

Key Responsibilities: Manage commercial litigation matters from commencement through to resolution.
Provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice tailored to client objectives.
Handle contractual, shareholder, business and debt recovery disputes.
Manage insolvency-related litigation and commercial disputes.
Work on building and construction litigation matters.
Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, submissions and other substantive documentation.
Appear at mediations, interlocutory applications, hearings and other dispute resolution processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
Strengthen referral partner relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Participate in networking and client relationship activities.
Contribute to initiatives supporting the continued growth of the Brisbane office.
Work collaboratively with colleagues while taking ownership of individual matters.
Required Qualifications: Approximately 5+ years PAE in commercial litigation.
Strong technical,
