As a Theatre Assistant your responsibilities will include:



Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre Provide safe effective patient handling and positioning.
Maintaining a protected patient environment including the setup and cleaning of theatres during procedures Providing support to the nursing staff Essential Criteria: Authority to Work in Australia Prior experience in a hospital environment Prior experience in a similar role will be highly reagrded Certificate III in Health Support Services or equivalent (desirable) Hold a valid Working with Children check Commitment to service excellence Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision Ability to work in a fast paced environment High level attention to detail Able to work a 7- day rotating roster including Night shifts.
