We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who enjoys building trusted relationships, solving practical people challenges and helping create a workplace where great people can do their best work.
In this role, you will partner with leaders and stakeholders across your portfolio to deliver responsive, contemporary and customer-focused HR services.
You will bring together strategic advice and hands-on delivery across employee relations, recruitment, payroll, workforce initiatives and culture-building activity.

What you'll do
* Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR advice, coaching and support across the employee lifecycle
* Lead and support workplace relations matters, including case management, legislative and policy advice, and enterprise agreement interpretation and application
* Contribute to people and culture initiatives that strengthen diversity, equity and inclusion, health, safety and wellbeing, workforce capability and continuous improvement
* Support core HR operations, including payroll transactions, HRIS maintenance and improvements to systems, processes and employee experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* A can-do attitude
* A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, and experience in an HR business partnering or generalist HR role
* The ability to interpret employee entitlements from sources such as the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement and the Fair Work Act
* Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion practices
Experience supporting payroll, injury management and/or return to work processes is desirable.
We know great candidates may not have experience in every aspect of the role.
