We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) Construction team within a major mining operation.
This position will provide onsite civil engineering and construction support across ongoing TSF construction and maintenance activities, including dam wall construction, bulk earthworks, tailings distribution infrastructure and water recovery systems.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Superintendent - Construction, you will work closely with mining, processing, HSE, contractors, consultants, designers and equipment suppliers to support the safe and effective delivery of TSF construction activities.
The role will have a solid focus on civil construction, bulk earthworks, project management, scheduling, cost control and QA/QC , while providing technical engineering support throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities Provide onsite Civil Engineering support across TSF construction and maintenance activities Support construction of TSF dam walls and associated infrastructure Coordinate with contractors, consultants, designers,



equipment and material suppliers Liaise with mining teams regarding waste rock and construction material requirements Coordinate with processing teams regarding tailings pipeline transportation and deposition systems Provide project scheduling and schedule control across construction activities Undertake cost analysis and cost control for construction and maintenance projects Manage and coordinate QA/QC activities associated with TSF wall construction Support the development and completion of as-built documentation Participate in engineering risk reviews and ensure actions are appropriately closed out Provide Civil Engineering advice and technical support throughout project delivery Verify contractor, consultant and vendor deliverables against project and statutory requirements Support additional civil construction activities where required Maintain a strong focus on HSE, quality and construction compliance throughout project execution About You 5+ years' experience within Civil Engineering, construction or similar project roles Mining Experience preferred,



not essential Degree in Civil Engineering preferred Strong civil and geotechnical project experience Demonstrated experience across large-scale bulk earthworks highly regarded Strong knowledge of civil engineering and construction management Construction and project management experience is essential Experience coordinating contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary stakeholders Exposure to scheduling, cost control and QA/QC within construction projects Current C Class Driver's Licence Bilingual candidates are highly regarded Fit Test Required (Clean Shaven) What's on Offer 8/6 FIFO roster - Friday to Friday Paid weekly $***** PH + Super If you are an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in TSF, bulk earthworks, geotechnical or mining construction projects , we would like to hear from you.
