Job details Location: Shaw, Townsville QLD Site: Holcim Quarry Lot 42 Bruce Highway, Shaw Pay Rate: $***** per hour Employment Type: Casual Roster: Monday to Friday Hours: 6:00am 4:00pm/6:00pm About the Role The successful candidate will operate both rigid haul trucks and front-end loaders, with opportunities to assist with fixed crushing operations and general quarry duties.

Key Responsibilities Operate rigid haul trucks Operate front-end loaders Assist with fixed crushing plant operations Run fixed crushers and screens Perform screen changes Carry out general quarry labouring duties as required Follow all site safety procedures and operational requirements Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and site safety About You To be successful, you must have experience operating both a loader and rigid haul truck.
Quarry experience is highly desirable, followed by mining or civil construction experience.
Required Tickets Loader one of the following: RII Conduct Front End Loader Operations RII Conduct Civil Construction Loader Operations Haul Truck: RII Conduct Rigid Haul Truck Operations Significant:



Candidates holding an Articulated Haul Truck ticket only will not be accepted for this position.
An Excavator ticket would also be advantageous.
The role offers: $***** per hour Monday to Friday roster Approximately 6 months Recruitment Requirements Successful candidates will be required to complete: Traffic History covering the preceding 5 years where applicable Holcim role and site-specific inductions Ability to pass medical PPE Basic PPE will be supplied.
