As Engenuity expands into modular and off-site building manufacture, we require a Production Manager to lead operations at our Kewdale facility.
The position will coordinate labour, materials, equipment, production schedules and dispatch to ensure Engenuity's ModLite modular buildings, ModForm permanent-formwork system and other building systems are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, organise and control manufacturing activities and production schedules for ModLite, ModForm and other modular, panelised and prefabricated building systems.
Convert project programmes, approved engineering drawings and specifications into achievable factory plans, production sequences and completion dates.
Plan factory capacity and allocate employees, supervisors, workstations, plant, lifting equipment and other resources across concurrent projects.
Coordinate materials, manufactured components and subcontracted services with procurement personnel to prevent shortages and delays.
Monitor production progress, productivity, labour costs, material usage, wastage, bottlenecks and rework against project requirements.
Ensure production teams use current approved drawings, specifications, work instructions and document revisions.
Develop and improve manufacturing workflows, standard operating procedures and consistent production methods.
Coordinate production priorities and technical requirements with engineers, project managers, quality personnel, supervisors and subcontractors.
Ensure manufacturing activities comply with workplace health and safety requirements, company procedures and approved work methods.
Coordinate inspection, protection, storage, loading and dispatch of completed modules and components with transport and site-installation programmes.
Investigate production delays, resource constraints and performance issues and implement corrective measures.
Recruit, supervise and develop production employees and report performance, costs, risks and resource requirements to management.
Qualifications and Experience: Relevant AQF Bachelor degree or higher in manufacturing, production management, operations, engineering, construction management or a closely related discipline.
At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
Applicants with a relevant qualification must demonstrate at least one year of relevant experience.
Experience in modular construction, prefabrication, off-site manufacturing or modern methods of construction is highly desirable.
Quality Assurance Manager (ANZSCO ******)

Engenuity requires a Quality Assurance Manager to manage quality across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, transport, installation and handover.
The position will establish inspection, testing, traceability and corrective-action systems to prevent defects and ensure manufactured components comply with approved designs, specifications and regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, implement and control Engenuity's quality-management system across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, transport, installation and handover.
Prepare project quality plans, inspection and test plans, checklists, hold points and measurable acceptance criteria.
Establish inspection and release procedures for modules, panels, structural assemblies, building components and concealed work.
Ensure materials and manufactured components are correctly identified, inspected and traceable throughout procurement and production.
Control quality records, approved drawings, design revisions, specifications and production documentation.
Conduct internal audits and monitor compliance with company procedures, project requirements and applicable building standards.
Coordinate inspections and quality requirements with clients, engineers, consultants, certifiers and Engenuity's nominated supervisor.
Identify and manage non-conformances, lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Analyse defects, rework and quality trends and introduce improvements to prevent recurring problems.
Establish supplier and subcontractor quality requirements and monitor their compliance and performance.
Prepare quality reports and provide management with independent advice concerning quality performance, compliance and risk.
Train employees in inspection, traceability and defect prevention while supporting certification, accreditation and continuous improvement.

Mechanical Engineer (ANZSCO ******) Full-time/Permanent $80,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation (salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience) Position Overview: Engenuity Engineering Pty Ltd is a Western Australian civil and structural engineering consultancy and registered building contractor.
Engenuity requires a Mechanical Engineer to support its expansion into factory-based modular construction.
The position will develop production processes, equipment, tooling, handling systems and mechanical interfaces to improve safety, efficiency, reliability and the transport and installation of manufactured building components.
Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, design and develop mechanical and production-engineering solutions for Engenuity's manufacturing operations.
Analyse manufacturing processes and implement improvements to efficiency, safety, repeatability and ergonomics.
Design or specify jigs, fixtures, tooling, handling aids and specialised production equipment.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, equipment layouts, drawings and reports.
Undertake mechanical engineering analysis of the machinery, equipment and handling systems used to move, lift, support and transport manufactured modules and components, coordinating structural verification with Engenuity's civil and structural engineers where required.
Support the selection, installation, testing and commissioning of factory plant and production equipment.
Develop preventive-maintenance and reliability requirements to improve equipment availability and performance.
Investigate equipment failures, production constraints and recurring defects and develop effective technical modifications.
Coordinate mechanical services, equipment access, penetrations, supports and installation interfaces within modular assemblies.
Review designs for manufacturability, assembly, transportation, installation, operation and ongoing maintenance.
Ensure mechanical solutions comply with engineering standards, safety requirements and project specifications, and prepare testing and commissioning procedures.
Provide technical support to production and quality teams, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and maintain controlled engineering records.
Qualifications and Experience: AQF Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
At least one year of relevant professional mechanical engineering experience.
Experience in manufacturing processes, mechanical or process plant, production equipment, tooling or materials-handling systems is required.
Demonstrated experience in modular construction, prefabrication, off-site manufacturing or other contemporary methods of construction is highly desirable.
