Henderson Healthcare is currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Services Manager on behalf of a leading provider of forensic, correctional and rehabilitation services in Victoria.
This is a significant senior leadership opportunity within a large and complex custodial environment , supporting a diverse adult population across general accommodation and specialised forensic and behavioral units.
The successful candidate will provide centre wide clinical leadership, governance and oversight , working across multidisciplinary clinical services and closely with operational leadership to ensure high-quality, evidence-informed care and rehabilitation services.
The Opportunity This role sits at the intersection of clinical leadership, governance, service delivery and rehabilitation .
You will oversee clinical services across a complex environment, ensuring resources, clinical programs and workforce capability are aligned with operational priorities, contractual requirements and the needs of the people in care.
The service has a strong focus on rehabilitation, continuity of care and community reintegration , including support for individuals transitioning from custody into the community.
Key Responsibilities Provide centre wide clinical leadership, governance and oversight of clinical service delivery.
Lead and support senior clinical professionals, including Principal Clinicians and clinical leads.
Provide supervision, mentoring, performance management and professional development.
Oversee clinical services across general and specialised forensic and behavioural units.
Monitor service delivery, clinical outcomes, performance measures and contractual obligations.
Ensure appropriate allocation of clinical resources and timely access to interventions.
Identify,



manage and escalate clinical, operational and service delivery risks.
Work closely with operational and rehabilitative services leaders to coordinate centre-wide priorities.
Support multidisciplinary decision-making and integrated service planning.
Represent clinical services at internal and external meetings and stakeholder forums.
Promote a culture of clinical safety, accountability, quality and continuous improvement .
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, professional networks and universities.
Support postgraduate clinical placements and workforce development.
Ensure clinical programs comply with relevant legislation, professional standards and funding requirements.
Contribute to rehabilitation, reintegration and post-release continuity-of-care initiatives.
About You We are looking for an experienced clinical leader who can operate confidently within a complex, high-risk and highly regulated environment .
You will ideally bring: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or another registered health profession .
Current professional registration or eligibility for membership with the relevant professional body.
Significant experience in clinical leadership, governance and service management .
Demonstrated experience leading and supervising multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance and professional practice.
Extensive experience working with forensic, correctional, complex or high-risk populations .
Strong understanding of risk assessment,



trauma-informed care, behaviour support and evidence-informed interventions.
Experience managing clinical services across a large or complex environment.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clinical, operational and multidisciplinary leadership.
Understanding of rehabilitation, reintegration and continuity-of-care frameworks.
Experience managing resources and service delivery against key performance requirements.
