Construction Lawyer – Front-End & Major Projects | Sydney

An exciting opportunity is available for a Lawyer or Senior Associate with front-end construction experience to join a highly regarded Construction & Infrastructure practice in Sydney.
n
This is an opportunity to work on major construction and infrastructure projects across sectors including transport, aviation, energy, government,
telecommunications,
education and major property development.
n
You will join a collaborative and high-performing team advising both government and private sector clients across the full project lifecycle, from procurement and contract structuring through to administration and delivery.
n
The Role
n
We are seeking a Lawyer or Senior Associate with at least 2 years' post-admission experience to join the front-end Construction & Infrastructure practice.
n
You will be involved in:
n
n
Advising on the procurement, structuring and delivery of major projects
n
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex construction and project agreements
n
Advising on procurement strategies and project delivery models
n
Advising on contractual risk allocation and contract administration
n
Supporting clients throughout all stages of project delivery
n
Working across major projects in transport, aviation, energy,
telecommunications,
government, education and property development
n




Collaborating with lawyers across both front-end and back-end construction matters
n
Building strong client relationships and providing practical, commercially focused advice
n
n
About You
n
The successful candidate will have:
n
n
At least 2 years' post-admission experience
n
Experience in construction, projects or infrastructure law
n
Strong front-end construction and major projects experience
n
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
n
Sound commercial judgement and a practical approach to legal advice
n
Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
n
A genuine interest in building a long-term career in construction and infrastructure
n
n
