Your next career opportunity In this role, you will lead MD Research and Clinical Scholar programmes on Melbourne Children's Campus.
You will support students and supervisors, shaping high-quality paediatric research projects and scholarly outputs.
You will also help build long-term research capacity and team-oriented relationships across our campus partners.
What you will deliver: Provide academic leadership and oversight for MD Research Scholar and Clinical Scholar streams on Melbourne Children's Campus.
Monitor student progress, identify at-risk students, and coordinate targeted support with supervisors and clinical school staff.
Recruit, engage, and support research and clinical supervisors, building strong, enduring partnerships across the campus.
Oversee research projects, manage expressions of interest,



and resolve issues to maintain appropriate, high-quality research experiences.
Assess written and oral scholarly work, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to departmental committees and meetings.
You may be a great fit if you: Hold specialist registration with AHPRA and eligibility for medical registration within Victoria.
Possess FRACP in General Paediatrics or an equivalent specialist paediatric qualification.
Bring completed or ongoing postgraduate research training, or equivalent, demonstrable paediatric research experience.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students and multidisciplinary colleagues.
Collaborate effectively within academic and clinical teams to achieve excellent research outcomes for MD students.
Offer experience in supervising or mentoring medical trainees and supporting scholarly assessment and feedback processes.
