We are seeking an experienced
Sonographer
to join a large and well-established Medical Imaging team within a leading public health service in Melbourne West
The Role
You will:
Perform ultrasound examinations across a broad range of clinical areas.
Work closely with radiologists and radiology registrars.
Independently operate ultrasound equipment and imaging systems.
Adapt examinations according to clinical presentation.
Participate in a
24/7 ultrasound service
, including reasonable overtime and out-of-hours recall.
Support and supervise trainees and students.
Maintain high standards of patient care, safety and qualified practice.
Participate in ongoing CPD and professional development.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
A postgraduate qualification in ultrasound (DMU, Graduate Diploma or equivalent).
Current
ASAR registration
.
Demonstrated competency across most areas of ultrasound.
Strong communication and time-management skills.




The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
