Job Description
We are currently seeking a casual labourer to join our Recycling Facility at Telegraph Point. These roles are available to support operations by filling in for absent staff and for potential longer-term replacement roles, based on performance.

About the Role
n
Working within a busy recycling facility, you will play a vital role in waste diversion and sustainability by manually sorting recyclable materials on a conveyor line.

Key Duties
n
n
Standing at a conveyor belt for periods of up to 3 hours at a time
n
Hand-sorting recyclable materials into designated hoppers and chutes
n
Sorting items including plastic bottles and containers, glass bottles, and mixed domestic and commercial recyclables
n
Maintaining a secure and efficient work area
n
n
Casual positions
n
Up to 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
n
Overtime available, as required
n




Shifts may be offered to cover absences or as ongoing replacement work, depending on suitability and performance
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
n
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude
n
Willingness to work in an industrial recycling environment
n
Previous labouring or recycling experience is advantageous but not essential
n
Must have Hep A and B immunisation and or willing to obtain. Proof of this will need to be presented.
