Your new role

We are currently seeking a Civil Labourer to join a busy Infrastructure & Operations team within Civil Operations. This hands-on role will see you assisting with the construction, maintenance and improvement of roads, drainage networks, footpaths and other civil infrastructure assets.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking general labouring duties associated with civil construction and maintenance activities
- Assisting with road, drainage and footpath maintenance works
- Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Supporting the operation of plant and equipment where appropriately licensed
- Assisting with traffic management and site setup activities
- Ensuring worksites are maintained in a clean, safe and professional condition
- Working collaboratively within a team to achieve operational outcomes
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience in civil construction, labouring,



maintenance or a similar role
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable attitude and strong work ethic

Highly desirable:

- Traffic Management qualifications
- MR Driver's Licence
- Plant and machinery operating tickets or licences
- Previous civil construction or infrastructure maintenance experience
