About The Kuttabul Health Centre /n
Kuttabul Health Centre is located on HMAS Kuttabul in Potts Point and the area itself has been host to a naval base since 1856. It is home to Fleet Support Unit South-East (FSU-SE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, outpatients, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services to the ADF population.
This mid-size health centre has up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel. Standard operating hours are Monday-Friday.
What You’ll Do /n
/n
- Cover planned and unplanned leave across Monday to Friday keeping the clinic running smoothly by providing fast, accurate, and professional clerical and administrative support to health staff and patients.
/n
- Manage electronic and hard copy health records and data in accordance with Defence policies, privacy requirements, and compliance standards.
/n
- Coordinate appointments and liaise effectively with internal and external health service providers to support continuity of care and timely access to patient information.
/n
- Prepare reports, update health and personnel management systems, and assist with auditing activities to support operational and compliance requirements.
/n
- Support day-to-day clinic operations through filing, mail distribution, photocopying, ordering stationery and stores, and processing supply requests.
/n
What You Bring /n
/n
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in an administrative role. (Medical setting highly desirable)
/n
- Completion of a medical terminology course from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or willingness to complete
/n
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
/n
- Sound computer literacy and experience with electronic health record systems highly regarded.
/n
