Event Producer - Major Festivals & Live Events

Are you an experienced Event Producer who thrives on bringing bold, large-scale events to life?

We're partnering with an established cultural and community organisation to recruit an Event Producer for an upcoming major festival program.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership from planning and programming through to live delivery. You'll work across a diverse mix of large-scale events, collaborating with artists, performers, venues, suppliers, volunteers and creative partners.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Festival and working closely with the wider Events team, you will:

- Own the end-to-end production and delivery of multiple events across the festival program
- Manage event budgets, production schedules, timelines and key deliverables
- Coordinate programming, creative elements, DJs, artists and performers
- Manage venues, suppliers, contractors and production partners
- Oversee technical and operational requirements across assigned events
- Develop event documentation, risk plans and operational requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams, volunteers and external stakeholders
- Support the delivery of major public events involving complex logistics
- Be hands-on throughout bump-in, live event delivery and bump-out
- Troubleshoot issues on the ground and ensure events are delivered safely and successfully

The formal position also carries responsibility across programming, stakeholder management, procurement, contracts and financial management.

About You

You will bring:

- 3+ years' experience as an Event Producer, Event Manager or similar within large-scale public events, festivals, concerts or live entertainment
- Strong end-to-end event production experience, including operational and technical requirements
- Experience managing budgets, suppliers, timelines and multiple competing priorities
- Confidence working with artists, performers, venues and production teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A hands-on,



resilient and solutions-focused approach
- Experience with event programming or talent management highly regarded
- Exposure to major public events, crowd management or complex event logistics advantageous

This is a six-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension depending on future funding and program requirements.

The role is based in the Sydney CBD, five days per week. Flexibility around working hours is required during the festival period, including weekend and out-of-hours event delivery.
