About the role

Be a part of the broader strategic direction of WHS at MercyCare, with the opportunity to partner with leaders and employees to provide practical advice, coaching and support across incident investigations, workplace inspections, risk assessments, hazard management and legislative compliance. Working across a diverse range of services and environments, you’ll continuously be building leaders understanding of how WHS is applied in practice and help leaders embed safety into everyday decision making.

Help shape WHS priorities, contribute to planning and improvement initiatives, use data and emerging trends to inform decision-making and own projects and improvement issues end to end

About you

You’ll be passionate about creating safe environments for our employees and clients, with a drive to improve processes, reduce risk and find better ways of doing things. With a strong understanding of WHS legislation, you’ll build trusted relationships with leaders and help embed safety into everyday practice. You’ll be someone who enjoys looking beyond day-to-day compliance, with a genuine interest in developing your strategic skills, broadening your experience and making a meaningful impact across the organisation.

You’ll also have:





- Degree in Work Health and Safety or equivalent
- Strong reporting and data management skills and experience conducting research and analysis
- Drivers Licence
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
